Jungleman deported from Canada

It was recently announced that Phil Galfond had invited Haseeb Quereshi and Dan "jungleman12" Cates to come stay with him in his new place in Vancouver.

But apparently Cates didn't pay close enough attention to the requirements to show up and play poker in Canada.

From his Twitter feed:

"leaving for Vancouver tomorrow, time to crush online again :)"

"In a ridiculous twist, I have been deported from Canada for being an illegal immigrant... Going to Seattle tomorrow to try to get temp visa."

Cates clarified later he hadn't actually been deported, but denied entry for not having a visa.

He's now headed to Seattle and seeing if he "can find a way around this."

LOL since when has Canadian citizenship become more difficult to obtain than a US citizen. Where I'm from, AZ, if you have a tan they harrass you.

Something is off with they way he goes about his future plans. Once it was Brazil, then Canada, then Portugal and after the cheating scandal with his friend and stakee Jose "Girah" Macedo...he's called that off and hanging out in London trying to determine new plans.
