POKERFORUM FREEROLL CLUB--future private freerolls for contributing members with PASSWORDS

Just some thoughts for Forming a PokerForum Freeroll Club for members

YOu would need to be a MEMBER of the CLUB to gain ACCESS TO THE PASSWORDS.

The Purpose of the POKERFORUM FREEROLL CLUB would be to give contributing members a reward for being a member of the site and remaining active.

Additionally, the freerolls would be private games with smaller fields combined with better cash prizes than available to the general masses, so this club would help to protect the quality of the games that are provided to those that deserve them.

To become a member you will need to do the following:

 1. Have 50 quality posts (subject to review prior to admittance to the club). Posting quality is just as important as quantity, and any attempt to spam the forums would result in an instant-permament ban.

 2. Ensure that you have added all of your poker site id's to your profile.

 3. Be an active and contributing member with a minimum of 10 posts per month after the intial 50 posts

4. Once you have completed 1 and 2 you would post your request to join the Freeroll Club in the PokerForum Freeroll Club Sign-up thread. Any requests to join made prior to completing 1 and 2 above will be deleted.

Mods would review and approve the sign-ups and members would be added to the freeroll club approximately once a week.

Members can be removed from the club at the mod's discretion for various reasons including inactivity, suspected password sharing, rule violations, removing or falsifying poker site id's, etc.

Also, harassing mods to give you access faster will not help your request but may very well hinder it. just an idea your comments be appreciated

I think it's a great idea, but do you think this "club" should have a small buy in with a password instead? Maybe $3-$5 entry fee, this way even if the password was shared the player would still have to buy in, if anything the buy inns should be added to the prize pool, like a "guaranteed" tournament. I think that would stop a lot of unwelcome players from joining "our" club.

Pretty good idea, I'll pass it on to my bosses and see what they think. In the meantime guys get the word out about our new forum and it will help your case for sure! The more contributing members we have with good solid posts will help convince them I'm sure.

Personally I think a small buy in would be a great addition to the "club". I have belonged to things like this before and it always gets out of control because the passwords end up on other forums, or friends just pass it on to friends. Don't most poker clubs have a minimum buy in anyway?

I would think pokerforums would be able to promote this to sponsors which would add prise money ,as for the club it would be in the interst of pokerfporums to have a pre-registered player list with a password in which only our forum members would be allowed to enter resolving any questions about password hand-outs as far as entry fees it could be an option to to freerolls ,WHY NOT PROMOTE BOTH

I think 50 initial posts is too high, 25 would be adequate, particularly if you are filtering out the few word "I agree" type submissions. But 10 a month is a very good idea to keep people active and contributing.

Good idea. But your club will be focused only on English language. I speak on английски badly. It is difficult to me to type 50 posts. But I try to read at least a forum through google translator. But at a writing post through the translator the meaning of words is lost. Me not always understandr

hi all not being smart but anything can be a good or great idea,

but it is also very important to hear your opinions and thoughts on this ?????

CoolTo be an entrant  with 50 Initial Qualitly posts are very Feasible and there afterwards 10-20 per month would be very reasonable for all members

making the intial Effort of 50 posts is not out of the question but allows  this forum to  know that you will contribute and promote your best efforts towards bettering  Poker Forums.net and our Society of Poker

It  will  not only allow Preferred Members to play in Special Tournaments  but also keep Non-Participating Members from  reaping  the Benefits  Offered  from this upcoming premier site !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Laughing

just wondering if this poker forum can support these freerolls.  I too am a fan of freerolls, but this site is still small and idk if they can support freeroll every month, but I can be wrong xD.  Although Im not too sure how this site makes money, since I dont see and advertisements or anything

you have a valid point there but as the forum grows I'm sure there is more to come as they have already offered a freeroll for the contribiting members
