Hand for Hand Play .... Is it Worth the Time ???

I see the logic for hand for hand but also  feel alot of players run the clock ,

Why  not let the players --play there game and save time from waiting !!     am I wrong ??

Running the clock is pointless in hand for hand. I dont get why they bother, better to save the clock surely.

I hate when you have to wait for the rest of the tables to finish   before the next hand is dealt , still can't fiqure it

I think it creates fairness in the tournaments, so players that are close to busting out don't get drowned out by the blinds while every player at every other table is maxing out the time.
