Login error when I start PokerHander

Tried enough times to know that I can't get any further on my own. :)
This is the error I get when I start the program and try to log in:

This is where I would have inserted a picture, but the window that appeared when
I clicked the button didn't make much sense to me. Here's the text instead:

An error occured while attempting to sign in to PokerForum.net:

Method not found: 'Boolean System.Deployment.Application.ApplicationDeployment.CheckForUpdate(Boolean)'.

Removed and installed 4 times or so. No change. Using XP.

Am I the only one with problems?

Hi Oneiros,

The reason you are getting this error (whilst some are not) is because the latest version of PokerHander requires the .NET Framework 2.0 with SP1 or later. The next version will no longer require SP1, so you can either just wait for the next version or simply install SP2 from here (for Windows XP only): http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=5B2C0358-915B-4EB5-9B1D-10E506DA9D0F&displaylang=en

I have already installed SP2, but I can see if I can update further.

Perhaps you already have SP2 for Windows XP, which is unrelated. I was referring to SP2 for the .NET Framework 2.0. Those are two different service packs.

Updated my OS and PokerHander works now.
All I have to do now is to figure out "how" it works. ;)

Yes, SP2 for the .NET Framework 2.0 is also available via Windows Update. Glad to hear you got it working!
