Full Tilt Poker released the schedule for the twelfth edition of the quarterly extravaganza. FTOPS XII will run May 6th through May 17th, consist of 25 events, and features over $18 million of guaranteed prize money. It is fairly similar to the last one, complete with shootout, knockout, short-handed, re-buy, and turbo events. And, like FTOPS XI, it culminates with the $500 + $35 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event with a $2.5 guarantee
The additional prizes remain this go-around, as well. Any player who makes a final table will receive a limited edition FTOPS jacket. The 25 event winners will not only get the jacket, but also a gold FTOPS jersey and special gold jersey avatar to use at the virtual poker tables. The player who finishes atop the FTOPS Leaderboard (the top 72 finishers in each event receive points towards the Leaderboard standings) will receive a special prize package which includes an entry into every FTOPS XIII tournament, except the two-day event, as well as the FTOPS avatar.
Also back is the FTOPS Tournament of Champions, which will pit event winners from FTOPS IX through FTOPS XII against each other in a freeroll tournament. The winner of the freeroll, which will take place May 23rd, will win a seat at the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event.
Bubble boys sort of win something, too, with the return of the "Bouncebackability" Freeroll. The 25 players who finish one spot from the money will get to compete in a private freeroll to win an entry into the FTOPS XIII Main Event.

The extra prizes are similar to those given away for FTOPS XII. Final table players will all win a limited editions MiniFTOPS jacket, while event champions will win the jacket and a silver MiniFTOPS jersey. The Leaderboard winner, just like his FTOPS XII counterpart, will receive an entry into every FTOPS XIII event, except for the two-day event.
