PokerStars Has Successful 2011 WCOOP

Despite not having the vast majority of the U.S. poker playing public (save for some of the relocated top pros) the 2011 WCOOP on PokerStars had a $47 million combined prizepool for their 62 events (making it their third largest) and blowing well past their $30 million guarantee.

It would have been interesting to see what the numbers would have been if US players were in the mix.

I bet they could have broke $70 million for sure.

It's amazing to seehow dramatic of an increase we've seen over the last 10 years. Hopefully we can reverse the events of Black Friday and continue to grow the sport and avoid a fall off.
