Player of the Year Still Up For Grabs

It looked like Ben Lamb was a lock to win the 2011 WSOPE, especially after Hellmuth failed to make up lost ground in Europe. But the WSOPE Main Event FInal Table has a few players that can make things interesting. If Chriss Moorman, the current chip leader, wins the bracelet, Lamb will have to finish in the top 3 in November. There is also another player, I don't remember who it was, that can take the title from Lamb's grasp. It is still likely that he will win the honor, but not as open and shut as it looked following the WSOP in Vegas.

What is the prize this year for POY? Do they still give away a vehicle?

I think it's mostly for pride, but carries a lot of prestige with it.

Chris Moorman can take the lead with a win and Shawn Buchanan can take the lead with second or first place.

It would force Ben Lamb to finish in top four or three positions at WSOP ME final table to take the POY title if either one of them do that well.

Makes a sweat...
