Full Tilt Poker: Full Tilt and DOJ deal getting closer?

I read this short article below on another site and thought it might be of interest - can't verify how true it is but we can but hope !

A deal for Full Tilt Poker that involves the payment of US and non US players appears to be getting closer but it still can not be confirmed.

The Groupe Bernard Tapie is involved in discussions with the Department of Justice (DOJ) about how to pay players their bankrolls.

Ray Bitar, one of the co founders of Full Tilt Poker, is reported to have sent an email to the other shareholders confirming that an agreement has been made between Groupe Bernard Tapie and the DOJ, with the DOJ paying the US players and Groupe Bernard Tapie the non US players.

As it appears the DOJ are happy with the resolution of the player funds situation it now depends on Full Tilt Poker shareholders agreeing the sale of the company and its assets.

Although nothing concrete or official has been confirmed, it looks like the  Full Tilt Poker situation is much closer to being resolved for the benefit of its players.
