"Making Your Opponent Bluff" what Strageties do you use ?

Say that in a tournament, you were dealt AA , KK, a very good starting hand, and your opponent has A5 off-suit for example. The flop is AK5, your opponent has flopped the NUTS( so he thinks) How can you entice him to bet? I think the best way to invite a bet on the flop or the turn would be to check to them, giving a sign that you may have a weak hand, the only drawback to this is if you give out free cards, you're taking the rish they may outdraw you and win the hand.
