Is there a Doylesroom without Doyle Brunson?

“Reluctantly, I have decided to terminate my endorsement contract It pains me to leave at this time. I have aspirations of reentering the online poker business when the United States Government passes legislation, that officially legalize online poker sites. Doylesroom management has decided to continue to serve U.S. customers. Although they believe they have the right to market the name Doylesroom and to use my name and likeness for a period of time, I have asked them not to.  Good luck-Shuffle up and deal.”

I think everyone is feeling the pressure that has been on the online poker world since black friday. People are worried that what they're doing is illegal or they're funds are unstable. I think that countries and poker rooms need to all come together and make all these rooms publicly traded, follow more strict rules to ensure the safety of members moneys and the fairness of their networks. Also, countries need to sort out something to make it legal...and stop playing in this grey zone and getting people nervous. Poker players aren't hurting anyone...and its basically the same thing as having a live poker game except its more readily available. So lets either ban all poker in the country or non. Not fair to ban online then run poker in casinos.

It's kind of hard to imagine success for doylesroom if there is no Doyle. I mean, his endorsement of the site was probably the biggest draw they had and now that he's gone how are they going to attract players?

Unless they booster they ''loyalty'' program I think DoylesRoom will die.. even to affiliates they are not the best place to do business with, basically they were sorely relying on the Doyle's image to keep and grab new players.. I think its either they start giving more benefits or they will just sell themselves ... like FullContactPoker (Daniel Negreanu poker room) when he left for PokerStars, all players were ''sold'' to PokerStars. I see the same thing happening with DoylesRoom

So Doyle asked them not to use his name and likeness, but I assume they are still going to. If not what will they do?
