Yeah, it is weird to think of "professional" video poker players but it can be done. I think the whole trick is never deviating from the statistically correct draw/hold options and hope to minimize your losses and then just get lucky with a miracle hand where you really cash in. But even more important than that is finding the correct machine. I don't mean like knowing which one is gunna pay out because someone just left the machine or because it's facing east or anything like that. But every machine has a payout scale on the machine somewhere that tells you your average losses for every dollar you spend. Some of those losses can be pretty low. Also, they say always play max credits so you have to have a bank roll to be a consistent winner.

I've tried all of these, but for me it's just a fun entertaining way to waste some time while I'm waiting on friends at other games. If I want to actually make money, I stick to table games like Poker, Blackjack and Roullette.
