Even if he thinks it will eventually fold, why not get it on these tournaments and make some cash? I think the absence speaks more to the tough competition than the belief in the failure of the product.

Daniel has gone from being a "poker player" to be a "brand". Now as a player money is money, but as a "Brand" you don't want to attach your "Brand" to a bad business venture, it can effect your future income. Also over-exposure of your "Brand" can diminish it's value.

Yeah that's a really good point. I guess for 99.9% of pros it doesn't really matter and they just want to maximize profits at the table, but for Negreanu it's different because he's on a whole different level.
